Fresh Start Launch Innovative Partnership with Reconomy
Fresh Start are proud to announce its official partnership with Reconomy waste management as a part of the Reconomy Social Value Programme (RSVP).
Reconomy are the UK’s market-leading provider of outsourced recycling and resource management services. From their Telford base Reconomy manage to co-ordinate in excess of 12,000 waste movements every week and manage approximately 3m tonnes of waste annually!
Diane Crowe, Head of Sustainability & Social Value at Reconomy, announced the launch of their Social Enterprise programme during the 2019 Reconomy Supplier Forum whilst inviting it’s suppliers and customers to help make a real difference in the most vulnerable areas of our local communities.
Reconomy work with thousands of UK businesses, from SME’s through to large blue chip companies, and boast an impressive supplier list of over 1,000 pre-approved supply chain partners whilst helping them to manage their waste in a responsible and sustainable manner – this is where Fresh Start enter.
Fresh Start, through the partnership, have been introduced to Reconomy’s supply chain partners who are being encouraged to employ candidates from a socially disadvantaged background.
In this, Reconomy’s suppliers will be encouraged to utilise Fresh Start’s socially inclusive recruitment model where Reconomy suppliers can post job opportunities onto the Fresh Start platform to be matched with candidates who have the qualifications required to complete any job to a high standard.
Where candidates do not already have the qualifications required Fresh Start will be able to tailor its bespoke training programmes to up-skill candidates to match job requirements.
Fresh Start and Reconomy look forward to working in partnership to promote and create social value on a large, nationwide scale for those who really need it.
