Belfour Beatty Vinci is a long-established joint venture between two global leaders in the delivery of critical infrastructure. We started working together over 30 years ago to deliver the Channel Tunnel as members of the TransManche Link consortium.
BBV are looking to recruit Pit Bottom Operator to work on a busy construction site in the Long Itchington area. The Pit Bottom Operator will assist the Slinger/Signaller with organising loads and preparing materials for tunnelling operations. They will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment and general labouring duties.
Some roles will include:
Manage the day-to-day loading and unloading of materials safely,
Organize loading and unloading equipment expediting freight movement, with communication with team members,
Maintaining housekeeping.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
Good time keeping,
Reliability,
Good communication skills,
CSCS Card,
2-3 years on site experience.
Due to start as soon as possible (10-12hrs)
